CHOICE CIRCA 1900 SATSUMA CABINET VASE OF REFINED FORM & PROPORTIONS EXQUISITELY DECORATED WITH EXOTIC FLOWERING BRANCHES A gracefully potted vessel with ring mouth, abbreviated neck, wide shoulder, tapered vasiform body and splayed foot. Polychrome painted and extensively gilded on fine crackle glazed cream ground.  Shoulder beautifully decorated with border of pale blue, iron red and black outlined fan devices with gilt crosshatching and cloudwork. Base retains partial paper label and two-character calligraphic seal of the maker.
